The co-director of The Last of Us claims his lack of inclusion in the credits of the HBO series

Bruce Straley, who co-directed The Final of Us with Neil Druckmann in 2013, has identified that he was absent from the credit of the HBO tv sequence that premiered earlier this week.

Straley claims that the one method for authors to guard themselves and make sure that their work is correctly credited is thru unions.

In an interview with the LA Instances, Straley referred to as this element by the present’s creators “an argument in favor of syndicating.”

“Somebody who was a part of the co-creation of that world and people characters does not get a single credit score or penny for the work they put into it. […] Possibly we’d like unions within the sport trade to guard creators.”

Straley, who additionally labored on The Final of Us DLC, Left Behind left Naughty Canine after Uncharted 4: A Thief’s Finish, after 18 years with the studio.

After a hiatus from the trade, Straley introduced the founding of his new studio in 2022.
